2016 marks the 100th year anniversary for Finnish sportswear brand KARHU.

The Fusion 2.0 is a modernised version of KARHU’s popular 96 runner the Fusion. Staying true to KARHU’s heritage, the Footpatrol Fusion 2.0 takes inspiration from Finland’s passion for outdoor activities and its’ best kept treasure – the forest. Around 65% of Finland’s total land area is covered in forest. The country is also known for their love of recreational sports such as hiking, skiing and walking.

The Footpatrol Fusion 2.0 honours the Finnish outdoors dressed in an earthy colour palette suited for the oncoming winter season. The shoe is comprised of an upper of Premium pigskin suede and a perforated nubuck with a patch of Ballistic Nylon representative of outdoor backpacks etc. With a nod to the outdoors the pair comes with hiking inspired lace loops in black on the medial side and white on the lateral. Details include Footpatrol branding embossed into the Heel and our classic Gas Mask logo on the inner sole and three sets of hiking inspired rope laces. The Footpatrol Fusion 2.0 comes in a co-branded box featuring a repeat Mountain motif with the paper lining featuring a pattern representing a maps contour lines.
